Minimally Invasive Surgery
Minimally invasive surgery remains the only effective treatment. Cataract surgery is now one of the safest and most frequently performed surgeries in the United States. The decision to undergo surgery is reached between doctor and patient only after a thorough consultation at one of our practices. Some patients are willing to live with faltering vision for months, and even years; however, most patients opt for surgery as soon as the dimming and blurring of their vision begins to affect their daily routine. Cataracts do not improve with time, they continue to progress and cause visual problems.

Today, patients now have a fast and effective treatment for the lines and wrinkles that commonly develop near the forehead, brows, and eyes. Known as "expression lines," these wrinkles are the result of years of muscle contraction from common facial expressions like squinting, frowning, and smiling. Newport Beach Botox patients can receive a series of injections at one of our practices to soften or eliminate these deep wrinkles in just a matter of minutes.
Eyelid Surgery
Medications are administered for your comfort during the surgical procedure. Frequently, local anesthesia and intravenous sedation are used for patients undergoing eyelid surgery, although general anesthesia may be desirable in some instances. For your safety during the operation, various monitors are used to check your heart, blood pressure, pulse and the amount of oxygen circulating in your blood.
Face Lift
Radiesse is a cosmetic filler that has shown amazing results in cheek augmentation. Radiesse enhances the cheek bone area by filling in and plumping the “apple” of the cheek while “lifting” the jowl line giving the appearance of a natural facelift. The procedure takes less than 30 minutes and there is no downtime, minimal if any bruising and no signs of having had a treatment performed. Blepharoplasty

Forehead Lift
Removal of fat from your eyelids, which is usually the cause of puffiness and bags, is permanent, and these conditions generally will not recur. The skin continues to age, however, and skin laxity along the fine wrinkling of the eyelid area may, at some point, return (although never to the extent that it was present before surgery). Sometimes loss of tone in the forehead causes additional sagging of the eyebrows that mimics a recurrence of drooping upper eyelids. If this happens, correction may require a forehead lift or a secondary eyelid procedure.

Chemical Peels
IPL (intense pulsed light) treatment offers a less invasive alternative to laser skin resurfacing and chemical peels. The treatments improve the surface of your skin, diminishing age spots, sunspots, facial redness (rosacea), dark pigmentation, wrinkles, facial veins, and other skin blemishes. Intense pulsed light can be applied to the face as part of a photofacial, and the treatment is also extremely effective for sun/age spots, texture, and pigmentation problems on the chest, neck, and hands.
Skin Care
Because it is fast, effective, and permanent, it is quickly becoming one of the most popular cosmetic skin care treatments available. Anyone who is bothered by unsightly hair growth is potentially a candidate for removal at our practice. The procedure is most effective on light-skinned patients with dark hair follicles; however, new technology allows us to treat patients of most skin tones. Individuals with a dark tan should be aware that treatments sometimes produce slight discolorations on the skin. For this reason, we recommend that our patients avoid tanning prior to all sessions.
Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is one of several non-surgical skin rejuvenation techniques featured at our Newport Beach cosmetic centers. We recommend it as an alternative treatment for minor skin problems, including fine lines, crow's feet, acne scars, sun damage, age spots, large pores and small scars. After a session, skin feels smooth and soft, and patients leave our office with a healthy glow.

Allergies
This treatment at our practice is a relatively simple process. The injections are quick and only slightly uncomfortable. The injections can be completed in approcimately 10 minutes and there is no recovery time. Patients leave the office immediately. Allergy testing is not required.
