Hes an extremely kind, compassionate dr which is not always the case in pain mgt.he never has judged me, always asked if what im taking is effective and working how I want it too.he is bye far the best chronic pain dr ive had in my 15 years as a chronic pain sufferer.he is thoroughly proactive in his background and checking up on you to make sure you follow the program.that often scares some patients away but it scares most seekers who ruin things for us legitimate pain sufferers.these are extremly dangerous meds that are basically a few protiens away from outright heroin.caution should always be the name of the day as I have had docs who were just script pads with heartbeats and that left me in a world of hurt, addiction and utter chaos.legally drs have to be careful as thier licenses are being pulled for over perscribing of certian meds and being perscriptions for hire.and its not just the foc who can land in jail but the d.a is cracking down now on script chasers or "doctor shopping" I knew a guy who was seeing 3 docs on and off for just norco and landed himself in jail for 6months with a 36month suspended sentence. But the doc is amazing and always ON TIME.my last doc I had an avg of 3.5 to 5 hours wait time.it was RIDICULOUS. He was the script pad with a pulse so his office was full of junkies and tweekers getting paid to fake injuries.patel is the complete opposite and its a gift from god.nothing worse than no available appt times or 4 month waits to get back in.you see the doc himself and he spends a good 15 mins with you and writes the stuff right in front of you!!!!!! He urine testsand even has a genetic scan machine that finds the best possible med match for you.now you dont have to go bye the machine but its a helpful tool.his offices are beautiful with plenty of parking and ive never sat in the lobby for more than 10-15 mins and 5 mins in the room.usually im in and out with a 1 month future appt in 15 mins.i cant say enough about dr patel and his staff , kind & courteous and very professional.no people hanging around the clinic asking to buy meds, no loadies nodding or withdrawling in the waiting room.just a real professional clean quality atmosphere that imho cant be topped in s.d....... I give it 7* out of 5* stars. ����������������♿��������������������������������������������
