Provided by SuperpagesMy experience with Dr Pannunzio and his staff has been excellent. I had surgery for a broken finger and Dr Pannunzio called personally the next day to check on me. I have never had that kind of care from a doctor. His staff have always been very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Dr Pannunzio.

Provided by SuperpagesI am a nurse working at the heart center and previously at IU in the emergency department for seven years . I was referred by my primary care physician and was very pleased with my surgery results and the care I received throughout the process, The office staff was also very helpful and easy to work with. I recommend Dr Pannunzio , mainly for his excellent skills, but also for overall experience .

Provided by SuperpagesWhen my left wrist was shattered, (it looked as if my arm was trying to bypass my hand before the paramedics splinted it), I was blessed to have Dr. Pannunzio come to my rescue. He got me into reconstructive surgery and miraculously put everything back together using a titanium plate and lots of screws. Naturally, recovering from this "event" was tough, so the complete support I received from Dr. Pannunzio's office on all levels was a Godsend. They were there for me every step of the way. They helped me navigate pain management. They listened with compassion. They answered every imaginable post-surgery question. I graduated to a custom-fitted splint, and later, to a fitted wrap-around brace, which helped so much. When I started rehab, it became apparent that my body and the hardware (which needed to stay put for several more weeks for the bones to heal) were not "playing well together" (i.e. pain and inflammation). My arm was stabilized by an immobilizing cast (inconvenient, yes, but highly effective, thankfully) until the time came that the hardware could be removed..... surgically, of course! But, they are really good at what they do! The hardware is out and I am able to do my rehab - range of motion and strength restoring exercises using weights - as I continue to heal. Recovery from a traumatic injury is a painful and difficult journey. I am VERY thankful that Dr. Pannunzio was on call when I was in need of A REALLY GOOD DOCTOR AND SURGEON! All along the way, Dr. Pannunzio, the rehab staff, and nurses, have worked with me with individualized care, consideration, and professional expertise. They are problem solvers. I so appreciate that my wrist looks normal again and that (I am standing on a mountain yelling at the top of my lungs here) I CAN USE MY HAND AGAIN! Praise God. With Dr. Pannunzio, and Reconstructive Hand Surgeons of Indiana, you are in good hands! (Pun intended!)

Provided by SuperpagesMy teenage son is involved in sports and has suffered broken fingers and thumbs on more than one occasion. Dr Pannunzio and his staff have always been extremely gracious in seeing him on a moment's notice. He and his nurse have always thoroughly explained the problem and the different treatment options. I had difficulty with my insurance carrier in one situation, and Dr Pannunzio discussed my son's case with the medical director so the treatment he needed would be covered. He has always put my, as well as my son's, mind at ease. I am truly grateful that we have found such a caring, professional practice.
