I had a bad headache and neck pain for 10 days that were disrupting my sleep. I finally searched for and found a chiropractor, Dr. Eric Anderson, who was able to provide me with this pain relief during my FIRST visit. He uses an Activator instead of manual manipulation. As Dr. Anderson explained, the Activator is much more powerful than manual manipulation and produces immediate results. It also doesn't hurt like manual manipulations can.
As it turned out, I had numerous subluxated discs in my lower back, mid back, and neck that were causing the pain and nightly headaches. As with any chiropractic adjustment, the discs will slip back without follow-up appointments. He recommended 3 visits a week for about 6 weeks to correct any slippage of the discs and until they were holding. I was very happy to do this based on the immediate pain relief that Dr. Anderson achieved on my very first visit. I have no more headaches or neck pain at night and wake up without pain. These follow up visits take less than 10 minutes.
Also, Dr. Anderson doesn't force the patient to join a "wellness program" of ongoing maintenance care unless the patient requests this. The patient can do this on a voluntary basis. I have Medicare and supplemental Medicare coverage. Medicare covers 80% of the cost for the adjustment and my Group G Plan Mutual of Omaha supplemental Medicare coverage covers the remaining 20%. The only out of pocket expense is the first visit which involves a thorough consultation. This did not include X-Rays, which Dr. Anderson did not feel was necessary in my case. He is very practical and doesn't believe in performing and charging the patient for any procedures that are not necessary, unlike many other chiropractors that I have been to in Charlotte. He takes almost ALL insurance and his office files the claim.
Icing on the cake --- staff members Dori and Shahab treat you like family members.

I have seen Doc Anderson for about 10 years and he's always given me top quality care. After all my body has been through, I shouldn't be walking. Thanks to Doc and his massage therapists, I feel fine. I highly-recommend this business to any one.

A caring and understanding Chiropractor who takes the time to listen and develop a "healing plan" instead of the usual quick fix.

I had been in a car accident recently, and suffered a neck injury which didn't seem to be alleviated from prescibed medications. A couple of days after the accident, I experienced stiffness in my neck, shoulders and lower back which got worse as the days passed. I have never been to a chiropractor before seeing Dr. Anderson, so I must say I had some apprehensions about my first visit. But, after my first visit the stiffness on my neck and shoulders diminished and I experienced a deep sense of relief and release. Dr. Anderson's gentle hands and informative approach make him a personable and great doctor.
