        It was back in 1938 that the Reineman family set up their steel shop along the railroad tracks in Chicago. The railroad provided an economical means of transport for raw materials and enabled the family to pass cost savings along to buyers. Types of steel produced by Crown Steel Sales include structural steel, bars, plates and sheets, all in numerous styles and varieties. The company is privately-owned and operates continues to operate out of Chicago to this day.
