        Nestled in Hickory Ridge village, Hickory Ridge Animal Hospital (HRAH) has been operating in the community for more than 30 years. Since July 2011, It is now under the new ownership of Dr. Kecia Parrish who is excited to be in a position to serve her community. HRAH is a single doctor, privately owned, veterinary hospital, focusing on quality, low-stress, patient and client care with an added emphasis on preventive care and diagnostics. From pampered pooches, frisky felines, to bouncing bunnies, Hickory Ridge Animal Hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for the pets you love. We have had great success focusing on low-stress handling and exam techniques, taking every effort to make your pet's visit a pleasant one. We are a full-service, small animal practice in the heart of Columbia, MD. Our services include but are not limited to general exams and vaccinations, dermatology, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, radiology, and ultrasound.

        Dr. Parrish is an outstanding, compassionate and caring vet. She took care of my pets in Rockville and I now bring them to see her in Columbia because her care is superb.

        This clinic is now owned by Dr. Parish and she is wonderful! She gives all you all the time and attention you need as if you are her only client. She also gives her time to rescue. Her staff is efficient and knowledgeable

        Dr. Gross performed four unauthorized tests on my pet and gave us an outrageous bill. We asked for a teeth cleaning. He billed $150 for the cleaning. Additionally, he charged $37 for IV fluids, $90 for blood work, $25 for fecal test, $30 for Giardia and $45 for a pathology report - Buyer BEWARE!

        Excellent veterinary facility - FYI **they no longer offer general boarding**

        My dog had a tail injury - while they don't usually board large breed dogs unless they are sick, they agreed to take my dog while I was on a business trip. (this was before they discontinued general boarding) They put together a plastic shield for his tail to protect it while he was there, and gave me supplies to take home so I could do the same. They walked me through how to apply it step by step before I left. Excellent vets - friendly staff. Very satisfied with them.
