Uni K Wax Studio

This place is very clean and professional. I have gone twice and both times has been a great experience. Rocio is very thorough and quick. The only thing I did not like is that they advertise pricing on their website as packages but when you go to pay they charge each service individually. The two times I have gone, I asked them why they charge individually if it is a package and she said that you have to request the package deal or they "forget" to give you the discount. How convenient.

I was just informed that today is ANIA's last day at Uni K Wax - Doral, because she is moving from Miami and will no longer work there. I will truly miss her, because she is Pro-fessional, Caring, Smart and Thorough with her work. She really takes the time.



She is truly the BEST one. I am sadened because I/we are going to miss her.

I love going to the Doral Uni K Wax. I have tried different technicians and some are good and some not so good. I strongly recommend Ania. She is the best! No one does a great job on my eyebrows like her. She takes her time with you, no rush.

Never go there I got an infection they recycle the wax. so you might get on your face someones underarm wax

I WENT TO UNI K WAX LOCATED IN DORAL FOR A FULL BIKINI WAX SINCE MY FRIEND SUGGESTED WAS A GOOD AND CLEAN PLACE. IT WAS A VERY POOR EXPERIENCE TO ME BECAUSE THE WOMAN WHO DID MY WAX FIRST OF ALL SHE EXPERIENCED SINCE I TOOK OFF MY UNDERWEAR (NO PRIVACY AT ALL) THE WORKING STATION WAS BARE THERE WAS NO TISSUE ON IT; SHE DIDNT EVEN SANITIZE THE AREA BEFORE HAVING ME TO LAY DOWN. SECOND OF ALL SHE JUST STARED POURING LOADS OF WAX ALL OVER MY BIKINI AREA , THE MORE SHE UNLOADS WAX ON ME THE MORE I WONDERED HOW SHE WAS GONNA BE ABLE TO PULL ALL OF THAT WAX OFF!I KNEW SOMEHOW WHEN SHE DECIDES TO PULL ALL OF THAT OFF IT WAS GOING TO HURT REALLY BAD! SHE PULLED ALL OF THE WAX AT ONE TIME NOT EVEN PULLING MY SKIN TO AVOID BREAKAGE AND OBVIOUSLY MOST OF THE HAIR STILL STAYED IN. SHE REPEATED THE PROCESS OVER THREE TIMES IN THE SAME AREA. WHETHER SHE DIDNT KNOW WHAT SHE WAS DOING OR THE WAX IS REALLY BAD QUALITY! I LEFT THE PLACE WITH HAIR STILL ON MY BIKINI AREA ,WITH BRUISES ALL OVER AND IT TOOK ME DAYS TO RECOVER. NOW THE RESULT IS VERY BAD AND PAINFULL INGROWN HAIRS!!

I decided to go to a Uni.K.Wax Center because I have seen alot of good reviews on them. I had chosen the Doral one because its the closest to my house. Biggest mistake of my life. The lady who was doing my wax was extremely rude. I believe she just wanted to get everyone done quickly to get as many people in as possible. Sure enough the experience was extremely painful, I understand that it is more painful the first time you wax but this lady after pulling the wax off of my leg while it was still sensitve put another coat of hot wax right on it less than 2 seconds later. When I was all done and ready to leave I noticed my skin was more irritated than it has every been and I was left with alot of STUBBLE! I couldnt even believe it. All the wax did was rip out the top of the hair after all that pain?! I could have gotten smoother skin from shaving!! It really sucks because I'm going on vacation tomorrow and there is no way I can shave the mess she left behind because of the irritation. I dont want to make it worse and I just don't know what to do. I dont think I'll ever wax anything but my eyebrows again because of this.

I finally went to the famous UniKWax, because they open up one at Doral. I loved the wax, the place was very clean, and the waxer did a great job. The best of all: the prices are very very good!!. I understand know why there are so many Unikwax around Miami. Fantastic!
