I took my car to Suburban auto body on Fleming st in Fredericksburg VA on or about 12-7-15 to have major repairs to my car totaling $ around $4500.00. Right after picking my car up almost TWO MONTHS later, I moved to South Carolina. The paint job was OUTSTANDING but at the same time I have had nothing but a number of problems and issues that has haunted me. 1st, my estimate included removing all windows from my car which they did because the TWO back seat windows and rear fas back window tint had to be replaced due to tears and/or removal of Windows. 2. They included in my estimate replacement of my windshield with a generic windshield due to removal damage. I recently learned that my mustang still had the original Ford windshield while I paid Suburban $243.65 for a generic replacement. 3rd After returning my original windshield to my car I have had a MAJOR water leak in my front passenger side. 4th my car is a 2007 Mustang and my interior had always been fine but ever since I've picked up my car the intereor on both the drivers and passenger door has gradually come apart from BOTH doors. If I hadn't relocated so quickly after picking up my car I undoubtedly would have had these issues resolved in the appropriate forum. Unfortunately ill have around $1000 out of pocket expenses to cover this negligence to add to the $4500 I was charged. Be very careful when dealing with Suburban. If this review is not resolved/published I will take this issue up with the BBB of Northern Virginia.

Amateurs.

Dropped my car off here after it got rear ended while parked. These guys were scheduled to have my car completed July 1. July 8 I was told my car was ready. Fish eyes, pitting, orange peel, overspray, runs, drips, waviness and even leftover rubbing compound was the end product for them. They blamed the fish eyes, pitting, orange peel and waviness on the carbon fiber trunk I provided them with that was already primed. They obviously didn't prep the trunk any further and just sprayed on top of it making the comment, "hopefully this is good primer." They claimed that they put "a lot of extra, free labor" into prepping it. Yeah ok. The trunk simply should have been sanded, filler primed, blocked, filler primed, blocked, painted. Guess this is a foreign concept. And none of this could be fixed because of the condition of the trunk. This is a BODY shop. So if my other car gets rear ended and the quarter has to be replaced, this is the shop that could potentially replace and repair the structural unibody? Of the car my 1 year old son rides in? How can you trust a shop to repair something like that when they can't figure out how to properly prep carbon fiber? Also, the paint doesn't even match. Can they match paint? No. Can they paint carbon fiber? No. Can they paint plastic (my bumper has waviness)? No. Can they paint metal (quarters have horrible orange peel)? No. I spray painted an old beater car in my garage with better results that this place's "professional" work. It's an amateur shop in cahoots with insurance companies. Nothing less, nothing more. Look up Rosner or Pohanka collision centers for a better, quality alternative.
