It was named after my relatives. We are very proud of the park. We hope to get down there soon to enjoy it.

The pool was a lot of fun. I have a six year old son and at 3:15pm today he went to jump into the pool, at the shallow end, just as he has done over a hundred time this summer. He jumped short to avoid hitting another boy and hit his right ribs on the metal drain that runs around the pool. Now children are clumsy esp. mine, however he was really injured. he was barely able to swim over to get out of the pool. NOT ONE LIFE GUARD GOT UP TO ASSIST ME!!!! It was obvious from the way he was screaming there was a problem. My son has Very badly bruised ribs and will probably never want to go back there.
All in all I would say it was ok for the kids to start but do not count on the life guards or pool staff if there is an emergency. If my six year old son had not been close to edge when he jumped in I would have had to go in after him because the life guards were not watching and did not care. Also I would like to add none of the pool staff offered any assistance or even asked if there was a problem. NOT A FAMILY FRIENDLY POOL!
