Kobe Japanese Restaurant

Kobe has the best atmosphere, we had a lot of fun there! I love their martini selection! My husband & I had delicious scallops & filet! We will be returning soon and often!

Food was ok.. I have had way better in both in Pittsburgh and Erie. The atmospheres as less then professional!! The staff was either running up and down the hallway or on their phones. No returns here

We couldn't wait for this place to open. Unfortunately after eating there about 7 or 8'times hoping things would change we've stopped eating there. One time my wife's steak was spoiled, another time the owner did the cooking and couldn't get the temps right on the hibachi. All of our food ended up getting burnt. Neither time was anything done to make up for the bad meals. In the salads they use a bad " ginger" dressing not like all other places. The " yum yum" sauce seems watered down. In comparison to other japanesesteak houses the portions are much smaller also. We've started making the drives back to Niles, Boardman and even Cranberry. We are always satisfied at those places.

Freshest, most delicious & biggest variety of sushi in the area! Cheap prices compared to other hibachi bars I've been to too! The only complaint was the waitress who wasnt too helpful at all. We asked if they had black pepper tuna & instead of being polite she acted like we didn't know what we were talking about & was rude about it. She basically got us our drinks, then disappeared. Everyone (not even just our party) needed refills and other things. Bus boy wasn't too smart either, he was picking up ppl's

on November 22, I went back Hermitage to visit my parents. After being tired of Black Friday shopping, we're so exhausted. We stopped at Giant Eagle on State street to buy some food and beverage. My parents were so tired to cook. So, we decided to look for any restaurant nearby. I saw the KOBE Japanese restaurant My parent and I decided to check it out. The waiting time was not too long. Sushi bar was so beautiful, peaceful and great atmosphere. We ordered filet and sushi. The chef served quickly at hibachi table and we had our food within 20 minutes. Sushi was good and filet was so excellent. I had couples beer and enjoyed with my parents at this peaceful restaurant. My parents and I were so happy and enjoyed meal. They said they will come back whenever they want to dine out. This trip was so wonderful and unforgetable time with my parents at KOBE restaurant. FYI, every one should check out once.

I love this place. Its close to home and I dont have to drive 30 mins to niles just to get some hibachi and of course some sushi. My family and i went for hibachi and my kids loved the show they put on at the table. The food was great and so was the service. Give this place a chance and you won't regret it.

The Bar Is Beautiful !! Service Poor but they are New Never got to try the food server Never came Back.We left to eat somewhere else. Knew there was a problem when they served warm white wine???? We will try again when kinks go away .

Sushi was pretty good. I have been there about 5 times and can say it is getting better as they hire new staff and get things figured out.The service staff needs to understand the menu better. The speed of the sushi has definately improved. the presentation of the sushi is basic very fresh and better size cuts than other area sushi bars. Sweet Shrimp with Roe was real good and its nice to have a sushi place thats not afraid of serving Uni. Spicey Tuna is excellent. Have not tried the cooking tables but do know they have hired a new chef freeing up Timmy the owner (from Yamato in Niles) to make sushi also, Still needs work but getting better.

We waited fifteen minutes for our drinks waiter was very immature and rude. It took 30 minutes before chef came to the table they need to make the cooking expierence a little more exciting. Meat was real fatty. I understand they just opened but they need major improvments! So maybe I'll give it sometime before I go back!

I took my family to eat here the first week they opened, and the food was great but the service was a little slow, however the manager was very friendly and comped our sushi. We went back a week later and it was 100 times better. The food is amazing and the staff was very friendly, and not too pricey. I am pleased with this restaurant, and glad to have it here in Hermitage!

So happy that a Japanese restaurant is in our area! The food was great! A little slow though. Understand that they just opened a little over a week ago. The staff was very professional and the place was BEAUTIFUL!! No place like it in Hermitage!! Will be a regular!

Ii thought the food was excellent!! Our chef was still in training, but she still did a very excellent job! You really have to check the place out for yourself and don't rely too much on the negative reviews. Remember...the restaurant is still new, so cut the staff a little slack! I am definitely going back again!

Not worth the money. .high priced very little portion.

Understanding that it is a new restaurant just now opening up that there is going to be some delays and a little confusion. If it was later in the opening I would be alarmed but I'm giving them a break because I realize that they are still new yet. Food is excellent and basically it is the Yamatos crew who has opened this business if anyone is familiar with them over in Niles. They only have four cooking tables which does slow down on service but other than that if a person isn't satisfied then they could always drive to Niles or go to Sawa House in the Southern Park Mall.

SO HAPPY WE FINALLY HAVE A JAPANESE STEAKHOUSE AND SUSHI BAR IN OUR AREA!! GREAT FOOD!! OWNER TIMMY AND SUSHI CHEF RAY ARE GREAT!! AND JOE THE BARTENDER IS LOTS OF FUN!! FRESH GREAT TASTING FOOD!! BEAUTIFUL ATMOSPHERE!!
