Lavonna Peterson Early Schools

This school is AWFUL. I sent my two sons, who are 2 and 3, there for 6 months. I paid weekly, writing a check as there are no other ways the school accepts payments. They don't cash the checks regularly and will all at one time. It's almost impossible to balance a check book while writing them weekly checks. The first director also misplaced multiple checks and it wasn't until the second director arrived that I was told I owed the school almost an entire months tuition. It's pathetic.

Also, the teachers are abrasive and uncaring towards the children.
They do not care when the kids cry and I often walked in on multiple children crying at once and not a single teacher attending them. It was just so sad.

I thought the program seemed adequate but the teachers don't even care about the children learning.

I wish it was possible to give the school no stars. It's a sad place to send children.

We are continuously pleased and incredibly grateful that our children are able to attend Lavonna Peterson Early Childhood Montessori. The educational foundation that Lavonna is providing our children in their formative years is priceless. From what we have observed, the skills taught at her school far exceed those taught at other schools in the area.



We appreciate the quality and professionalism of the teachers, the materials provided for children to learn and grow, and we are grateful that such an incredible learning environment exists for our children. We especially love what the teachers help instill in our children -- problem solving skills, responsibility, independence, a sense of accomplishment, how to care for the environment, and how to care for each other - and how they help instill it in such a supportive and caring way.



Every day, our children astonish us with what they have learned. Thank you, Lavonna Peterson Early Childhood School, for all that you do!

Our little guy went into the infant room when he was 6 months and I could not be happier with the school. Finding daycare is a very stressful experience for a new parent and I feel so lucky that I found this place. The teachers/caregivers are so wonderful, caring, and professional. When I'm at work I never think twice about his safety or well being. I have recommended the infant care to my friends who are having their little guy start next week.
