Allcare Animal Hospital

Everyone that works at Allcare loved my pet like it was theirs. Hit by car they rushed Callie right in and saved her. Thank you to all the staff.

I took my one-year-old puppy to Allcare to be groomed. I explained when I dropped her off that she had been spayed only two weeks prior. I explained she needed some extra care. "No problem. We got it," they said. I dropped her off at 7:30 AM and was the first in line to register her for grooming. At 12:30 she wasn't ready, and I was a little concerned. By 1:30, still no call and at 2:30, I called Allcare and she hadn't even been WASHED yet. By 3:30, I went and took my dog back from Allcare--UNGROOMED! No apology, no explanation. I was furious. She had no water and no potty break. As soon as I got her to the car I gave her water and she lapped it up (as it was coming out of the bottle into the dish). She immediately needed to have a BM. I will never go back to this groomer. It should be call Don'tcare Animal Hospital. Horrible.

I have gone here for 15+ years and would not trust my animals anywhere else. Dr. Chaffin's #1 priority is ALWAYS that of her patients...the animals. Her advice is spot on, her care is beyond exceptional. I strongly recommend this office to everyone I know, and will continue to do so!

have seen Verona Chaffin for about 3 years now. She is a very caring vet, and I would highly recommend her. I totally trust her with my animal babies. She has cared for my cats and my little dogs. I've always been happy with her caring nature. She is upfront, no lies and will tell you her opinion that is just her personality. I am ok with that, I need to hear the truth at times. I spoil my babies, and I need to hear if I need to alter my care in any way. Different people's perceptions can be different, but hands down I believe in Dr. Chaffin.....she has many years experience and a big heart under her up front no lies personality. I'll go back in a heartbeat! Happy to call her my vet! Excellent care, very knowledgeable and years of experience. I also think that Dr Chaffin is a reasonable person and will review the below reviews by discussing with staff etc.

Courtney B's review is right on the money. This office seems to think it's acceptable to scream (not yell, scream) at their clients in the middle of the waiting room. The yelling was done by the owner, Verona Chaffin, who is the epitome of unprofessionalism. The quality of work is poor and their attitude is worse. There are plenty of places in the area. Highly recommend going elsewhere.

Update: Turns out, you can add "stitches" to the list. Our dog's stitches were re-done today. Our new veterinarian was very curious to know who did the stitches in the first place, as they were put in so tight it was hindering the healing process and causing issues.

I had brought in my dog for her yearly vaccinations and while we were waiting in the room the assistant came out to let me know that the doctor was not ready yet but she could go ahead and give her the vaccination. She took my dog to a back room where I couldn't see which I didn't think too much of until I heard a loud bang followed by yelping sounds. As I was about to open that door to see the assistant came back with my dog giving me a dirty look and I asked her what happened. She angrily replied, "your dog jumped off the counter top," as if it was my fault that she lost control of my dog; gee, who ever heard of a dog being nervous at a vets office? She did not even apologize, when the vet finally came in I told her about the incident which she seemed to not even care and no apology from her either or even to examine if she was injured. My dog is thankfully okay now but believe me I will not be coming back to this place. DO NOT GO HERE!

They were very helpful in solving a difficult problem with an elderly pet. They made every effort to accomadate the pets needs.
