Ultrasound
In addition to routine screening mammography, diagnostic breast evaluations are performed using special mammographic views and ultrasound. Body imaging encompasses techniques aimed at diagnosing diseases of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, cardiac, pulmonary and musculoskeletal systems. The body imaging section at MidSouth Imaging includes radiologists with specialized fellowship training in all these areas. Modalities used to image these organs include fluoroscopy, ultrasound, computed tomography and magnetic resonance.
