Ward's House of Prime

My friend and I took my daughter for her 20th birthday dinner. We looked forward to dressing up and having a nice dinner. The only positive about our experience was the food. The ambiance was horrible. First of all - I would have thought there should be a dress code. The women at the table behind us was in a flannel shirt, torn jeans and spoke like a truck driver. We believe she had too much to drink and every other word was the F bomb. We made comments to our waiter 3 times about their behavior and nothing was done. So my daughter politely went to their table and asked if they could keep it down a bit - we couldn't even hear our conversation at our table. For one of the men to say - no, we're fine - thanks anyways. So I turn around and ask if they could please refrain from dropping the F bomb every other word for him to repeat again - no, we're fine. Well the night went down hill - turns out he had a shouting match with my friend, we asked to see a manager, was told there wasn't a manager on site. We were never offered to move tables and hindsight - we should have either walked out or demanded to be moved. Things quieted down when the table got their food, but they had to cause another scene on their way out yelling, screaming and swearing at my friend. I emailed management the next day and 3 days later they respond and basically put the blame on my friend for speaking back to the other table and defending us. I just wish our husbands weren't in NY at the time, because I doubt that man at the other table would have had the opportunity to bully and threaten 3 women. Will NEVER go back to this restaurant.
