        Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Adelphi University and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Long Island University Brooklyn. Jennifer has received recognition from the New York Physical Therapy Association (NYPTA) earning the Brooklyn/Staten Island District Student Achievement Award and Minority Student NYPTA Leader Award and continues to hone her clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills by taking continuing education courses. She is currently pursuing a certification in Functional Manual Therapy with the Institute of Physical Art.Jennifers treatment approach emphasizes identifying the primary driver behind the dysfunctions in the body that are causing inefficient movement and she believes in working closely with her patients to achieve their goals of optimal function and movement. Jennifer has published her research in the field of neuroscience in the Anatomy and Physiology Journal and has presented her work at local and national conferences. She plans to continue her passion for pursing knowledge in physical therapy by participating in new, ongoing research efforts.Outside of the clinic, Jennifer enjoys participating in community service and fellowship activities. She enjoys staying active by playing sports such as bowling and handball, which she played competitively in high school. She also has taken a recent interest in skiing and is a fan of baseball, hockey, and football.

        Excellent therapist

        Jennifer is an excellent physical therapist. She listens, addresses my problems and offers suggestions for life style changes and at home exercises. I appreciate she is always attending conferences and learning new techniques to help her patients.

        Quite possibly the smartest PT I have ever met or dealt with. More like a doctor. She assesses your pain in context of your entire body, not just a discrete body part. Superb "tableside" manner.
