Vision Max

The customer service in this place is horrible. They use coupons to get you in the door they quickly take you back where they give you 3 different pre test.. Then you pick out the glasses next your left to sit in this room for over an hours waiting to speak to the Dr. he us very friendly and seems to honestly care about your vision. Then you go to another waiting area where your tricked into adding UV protection once they have your money then your quickly rushed out. Not to mention English is everyone there's third language. Never again. I'll rather spend the extra money and go to a professional business.

NEVER go to this place!! They overcharged me and my insurance co had to call them to get my credit card reimbursed. The glasses are the WORST I have ever had - the lenses don't fit the frames. My prescription was wrong and I had to go back for a re-exam. There are too many people and you are herded through like cattle.

The glasses they advertise suck, so I decided to pay the extra $30 for the upgraded pair. I have a small face and they only had one section of smaller framed glasses so I only had like 20 to choose from. Then I got my exam the guy dilated my eyes and told me he would re-check my eyes in 30 minutes, and hour later he came back took me in the room checked out my eye for not even a minute and told me I could leave. It was an over all sucky visit. Plus it was freezing cold.

Rip-off report! Coupons for glasses are plastic glasses that are so ugly that you won't want to wear them, even at home alone. Just a ploy to get you in and upsell you to death! We were there for THREE hours! It was so rediculously unorganized, and unprofesional. They had to run my test 6 times before they could get a reading, and I sat and watched them re-test and re-test others. The machine didn't even read my 20 year old astigmastism! Luckily the dr saw it when he got me in the exam. This place is so bogus I'm almost tempted not to go back to pick up the glasses and contacts I ordered!

yes I also have made the mistake of going to Vision Max , long wiat for the exam , rude receptionist , have waited now 3 weeks for glasses an still not ready , will be another week.when you call them to check too see if they are ready yet .they tell you they will call you right back , with info , but never do, I will never make this mistake again . please be smart an do not consider Vision Max , use some else , anyone else will be better than they are

I never write reviews, but this place is so awful! I need to warn other people not to go here. I decided to go to this Vision Max after seeing a great coupon in the paper. Little did I know that this was a way to lure customers to their office, since I'm sure they constantly lose business. The customer service is awful! The front office staff and optometry assistants are all rude and have very heavy accents. The deal that they offer in the paper is also a ploy. The selection of frames included in that offer is very small and they are all VERY ugly!!! You end having to purchase one of the more expensive frames, They don't even allow you to look at the frames until they call you to the back. I spent my entire day there due to the long wait times to see the frames and then to see the doctor. DO NOT go here. It it a waste of time and money. The quality of the glasses aren't even good.

I found Vision Max to be extremely unprofessional. The associates that work there are very rude. For instance when picking out my glasses they handed me a bunch of glasses and said here "try these" when I did not pick that pair they handed me they would roll their eyes and grab 5 more to "try" on. Excuse me but if I have to wear them everyday it's going to be something I like and feel comfortable in. And the docotor he wasn't any better. During the pressure test (blue light) he jammed the damn machine into my eye so hard that is was Dry, Sore, and uncomfortable for a good week! In fact, I went to a specialist afterward to make sure there was no serious damage. Not to mention when that test is performed he is suppose to put a numbing drop in your eye which he didn't. They have no interest in the patients well being at all! I will not recommend Vision Max to anybody I know. Yeah, you may save a few $$$ but I would much rather pay a lil more if it means I will get the care that I deserve!

I should have followed my instincts when the girl on the phone was extremely curt, but I went to my apt and it was downhill from there. The "free" glasses that are included in the advertised coupon are so big and ugly that no one buys them. But, they do have a nice, big selection for $30 more! Then I found out that it would be $15 shipping for my "sample" contacts to come in, and it would take 2 weeks! On top of that, because I have dry eyes, the better pair of contacts are an additional $80, on top of the $80 I would be paying for the regular price of the contacts. By the time I found this out, the exam was almost over, so although I really wanted to leave at that moment so I wasn't wasting my time anymore, but the exam was almost $100, which I'm sure I would have had to pay. So, I expect to get my prescription and get the heck away from there. I'll never go back, and certainly wouldn't recommend going.
