WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER. I have never encountered a store that has a "you will never get your money back under any circumstances" policy.



My wife purchased a pair of shoes for me for my birthday, as a gift. They were the wrong color. I took them back to Gary Gribbles to exchange them for the shoes I wanted (exact same style, just a different color), but they didn't have them, nor would they order them for me. So I asked for my money back. Understand, the shoes are brand new in the box, never worn, and I'm standing their with the receipt from 3 days earlier. They refused to issue a credit card refund. They said, "you can have an exchange or store credit". I said, "Fine. I'd like to exchange them for the same shoe in a different color." "But we don't have that color." "Then, if you can't provide to me the exchange, you should provide to me my money back." "We don't provide cash, check or credit card refunds under any circumstances." "You should if you can't do an exchange." "Sorry, sir. No refunds, And if we don't have the shoe you want, then we are all out of options for you."



So I either get a store credit, which I can't use because they don't carry the shoe I want, or I'm stuck with shoes which I don't want. Neither one is an acceptable solution.



Add to that the fact that David Williford, the store manager, was the most condescending, irrational, hostile and patronizing person I've ever met and actually had the nerve to pat me on the back as he ushered me out the door. I have never been so insulted and disgusted with a store or it's customer service. Ever.



If given the option of any other shoe store on the planet, I would NEVER, under any circumstances, deal with Gary Gribbles Running Sports ever again.
