Tire Kingdom

I have been a customer of this store for years. Bought 2 sets of tires, an extra tire later on, and regularly took my cars for oil changes and simple things. Decently good customer service until the last couple of days.
here's why

bottom line
1) Tire Kingdom was not interested in keeping a long time customer
2) Our car spent the night in this shop without us getting any heads up
3) Tire Kingdom was not clear that there was going to be a $119 diagnostic fee - I feel cheated

June 1 2018 -
On my last visit, my wife took our car with the intention to do an oil change and to 'check out the engine light'. According to the sales rep he explained twice that he would do a diagnosis and asked her to sign the regular paperwork.

We left the car and waited for a call with next steps. We didn't receive a call that day, we had to call before closing only to find out the car was going to spend the night there -- they were too busy (if they had told us that the car was not going to be seen that day, we would've gone somewhere else !!!)

June 2 2018 -
Again, no call. We had to call them. This time the diagnosis was ready and the repair will costs us $960 !! I told them that for that cost I needed to shop around so I would go pick up the car. Is was only then that we found out that there was a $119 fee for the diagnosis and they had not done the oil change. I asked for a reimbursement as my wife would'v never agree to pay $100 just for a diagnosis (she's not into cars) but they only offered $25 off

I decided to pay the fee and to never again be their customer

I ask myself/and the manager: Is it really worth it to lose a loyal customer and a potential $960 fix for a 'diagnosis' fee that initiated out of confusion??

I have been taking my daughters car here for a year now. They are extremely thorough in their safety checks on the vehicle. I have had the tires replaced, aligned, struts replaced and had new bearings installed. Great Customer Service.

I have been a customer at TK for 6 years! I am disappointed at what happened the last three times. After the last two, just because I believe in giving chances to people, I went their again the last week.

What started as coolants overheat and probable thermostat failure became a 510 dollar deal for ma and 2 days of work? The first day they changed the perfectly okay coolant pump, which I saw myself, and ripped me saying everything is working now. The very next day, only driving the vehicle for 2 miles I still had the same coolant overheating issue and took it back. This time, it became a radiator fan clutch assembly issue and a thermostat issue. The guy at the center kept arguing that the pump was broken, when he had to change a 79 dollar thermostat to get it fixed.

Very disappointed with the whole thing and the other two previous occasions, they have ripped me even more money. With this being my family vehicle, I am always afraid of not able to drive the vehicle and I am sure they cashed these opportunities happily.

This is another ridiculous story, where they changed the temperature indicator on the same vehicle and assembled everything and started to vehicle to only realize that they used the wrong sensor. The meter read off scale. Then he said to me, your onboard computer is bad and will take another @@@dollars to fix. I asked the guy to unplug the new sensor and plug the old one outside, without removing the sensor from the engine. The meter read well. He kept arguing that the computer is bad! I asked him to put the old sensor back and I have it still working. It was a simple loose or bad connection at the connector! They still charged for the job!

I wish there was a half star here in review. I have records of everything above. I understand that people needs to make money to live. But things above are not expected from the work force and backbone of such a great country. Pretty sad that people who are committed to their work, are honest and passionate and always want to help is becoming a rear species!

for all people that lives in Oviedo and surrounding areas and happen to think to stop by this place because it is convenient and close, think twice and don't stop here. This place is pitiful and not honest. In 2010 I stopped here since my car A/C stopped working after a recent repair they did and they quoted for $2000 stating that was the compressor. I took my car and went to a mechanic recommended by a friend and he fixed a loose hose for $60.00, coincidentally this happened after I took it there. Since three years has passed and probably has a new staff and mgr, I gave it another try and took my other car to replace tires this past Sunday afternoon, at the same time they found problems with the front axle, they "replaced" it ($821.00), couple days later my husband noticed a huge leak of oil underneath the car. We took it to another mechanic this morning and he explained that the axle was put incorrectly and charged us only $48.00 to fix it..feeling sorry for us. AWFUL PLACE!!!!!
