Holiday Banquet

We had a graduation party for my daughter back in May. To be honest the place is nice from inside including the setup of the tables; however, that was the ONLY good in our experience with Holidays Banquets. Management messed up our party with the services they provided. Food was HORIBBLE HORIBBLE HORIBBLE. Chicken came have frozen and have not done. Vegetable literally came from cans to the plates (not cooked). Horrible food services. Manager blamed us for the food quality. She was RUDE RUDE RUDE. She fought and screamed on us and every one including the DJ and some guests. HORRIBLE experience. They ruined our party and 120 left sick and disgusted. JUST DON’t do you party there. Additional note: Parking is very very limited, around 30 cars (not enough for any guest numbers).

BARTENDER WHO WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT IF IT WHERE A SODA BAR OR A SHOT & A BEER RECEPTION.
OUR SERVERS AND BUSBOY MIGHT HAVE BEEN ABOUT 13 YEARS OLD WITH NO SUPERVISION FROM A SO CALLED WEDDING COORDINATOR OR MANAGER. "THE FOOD" THE CHICKEN RICE WAS VERY TASTY IF YOU WHERE LUCKY NOT TO GET ANY CHICKEN BONES IN IT OR EVEN MORE LUCKY NOT TO CHOKE ON ONE!
"THE SALAD" AH! WARM ICEBERG LETTUCE WITH SHAVINGS OF RED CABBAGE ACCOMPANIED BY WARM SALAD DRESSINGS "YUK". "THE CHICKEN" VERY SLIMY ON THE OUTSIDE AND BLOODY ON THE INSIDE.
"THE BEEF" I ALWAYS THOUGHT ROAST SIRLOIN OF BEEF SHOULD BE ROASTED NOT BOILED? ARE YOU READY FOR THIS! THEN THE BEEF WAS SERVED IN A BOWL SWIMMING IN BROWN GRAVY "YUMMY".
"THE MOSTOCCIOLI" SCORCHED NOODLES SERVED WITH A TASTELESS MARINARA SAUCE AND RAW GREEN PEPPERS! OH AND LEFT OVER CHICKEN FROM THE SOUP. (NO ITALIAN SAUSAGE?) "THE POTATO'S" INSTANT POTATO'S THAT YOU COULD HAVE USED AS WALLPAPER PASTE NEED I SAY ANYMORE. "THE VEGETABLES" BROWN CORN AND CARROTS & PEA'S. THEY MUST HAVE BEEN SITTING IN WATER ALL DAY? I MUST PUT MY PERSONAL FEELINGS ASIDE FOR ONE MOMENT AND WRITE TO YOU AS A PROFESSIONAL
IN THE BANQUET INDUSTRY. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A WEDDING RECEPTION THAT I COULDN'T FIND SOMETHING ENJOYABLE ABOUT AND I HAVE BEEN TO MANY. THIS RECEPTION WAS A FAILURE DO TO POOR COOKING A INADEQUATE STAFF AND OWNER. I CERTAINLY HOPE THERE IS SOME TYPE OF RESTITUTION GIVEN TO THE BRIDE AND GROOM FOR A DISASTEROUS EVENING. Things have changed since 2008. They must be under new management because none of the things described happened at my wedding reception in Sept 2014.



Everything was WONDERFUL. The food was very good and everyone is still talking about the roasted chicken option even though we had 3 entrees. The decorations were gorgeous. And I can't complain about the wait staff they were superb.



It is truly a hidden gem because while it doesn't look like much on the outside they do a wonderful job of decorating and attending to their guest.

We attended my sister's wedding on Saturday July 12, 2008. The wedding was beautiful and then on to the disaster of a reception. We arrived at the reception hall at 3:30 p.m. and went to go inside the reception hall to add some of our own decorations to the tables and were told we could not go in until 4 p.m. After the bride talked to the workers they finally agreed to let us go in to do our decorations. My brother who is a severe diabetic starting having a low sugar spell, his glucose level had went so low that we could not even get a reading of it on the glucose testing meter. Several people went to the bartender asking for a glass of orange juice to help bring his sugar level back up and the bartender refused several times before finally giving a glass of orange juice. The entire staff, which was'nt very many I believe a total of 4 people including bartender were extremely rude. I stood in line for 20 min for a drink and right when it was my turn next the bartender said IM CLOSED! no warning and no im sorry, she had to shut down the bar to wait tables. Then the nasty food came, cream of chicken soup filled with nothing but bones and fatty skin from the neck of the chicken. the salad was warm and nasty, the main course was even worse, the mashed potatoes were loaded with way to many parsley flakes that were burnt, the chicken contained hair and was bloody, the cold beef drowned in onion gravy and burnt mostocholi and dried up scorched vegetables of corn, peas and carrots. There wasnt enough silverware on the table, The service was terrible and rude, the bathroom was wet and nasty with everything dripping all over from the toilet. I would never reccomend this to my worst enemy. Beware everyone dont choose this place to have a party at.

WHERE DO I BEGIN LETS SAY I THOUGHT THAT I WAS AT 1313 MOCKING BIRD LANE INSTED OF 10140 ROBERTS ROAD. THE FOOD THERE IS THE PITS THE RAT RUN AWAY FROM THE GARBAGE CANS AND LOOK FOR MC DOLALDS TO EAT AND THAT IS WERE WE SHOULD OF WENT. THE STAFF WAS EVEN WORST THEN THE FOOD THE BARTENDER NEEDS TO GO TO SCHOOL TO DO HER JOB AND SHE ALSO NEED A CRASH COURSE IN MANNERS ALSO WE HAD A DIABETIC WHO WAS HAVING A SUGAR SPELL AND ASKED HER FOR A GLASS OF ORANGE JUCIE FOR HIM AND SHE SAID NO THE BAR WAS NOT OPEN AND WE HAD TO GET UGLY WITH HER TO GET IT FOR HIM NOW FOR THE FOOD OH MY GOD JUST THINKING ABOUT IT MAKES ME SICK ALL OVER.THE CREAM OF CHICKEN SOUP HAD A BONE IN EVERY BITE. THE FRIED CHICKEN WAS BURNT ON THE OUTSIDE AND BLOODY AS HELL ON THE IN SIDE THE MUSTACHOLI WAS ALSO BURNT AND HAD RAW DICE GREEN PEPPERS ON SOME OF THEM AND THE OTHER TABLES HAD DICED GREEN JALAPENOS ON TOP. THE BEEF WAS FAIR AND THE BREAD WAS GOOD SO WE ALL ATE BREAD TO FILL UP ON IT WAS THE ONLY THING THAT WAS SAFE.WHEN THE ICECREAM CAME OUT IS WAS SO MELTED THERE WAS NO NEED FOR SPOONS THEY SHOULD OF SENT OUT STRAWS.THERE WAS HAIR IN THE CHICKEN AND YOU WONT BELIVE IT BUT ALSO IN THE ICE CUBS WE HAD ICE ON A STRING OF HAIR. THE BATHROOM WAS LIKE A SLIP AND SLIDE FROM THE TOLEITS LEAKING THEY HAD TO PUT THROW RUGS IN FRONT OF THEM TO DRY THE FLOORS .I BELIEVE THAT THE HOLIDAY BANQUET HALL SHOULD REFUND THE BRIDE AND GROOM AT LEATS HALF OF THE MONEY THEY PUT OUT FOR THEIR SERVICE IF YOU WANT TO CALL IT SERVICE.WHAT STARTED OUT AS A DAY FULL OF HAPPNESS ENDED IN A NIGHT FULL OF TEARS AND A EMPTY WALLET. IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT HAVEING YOUR PARTY THERE PLEASE PLEASE GET YOR MONEY BACK AND RUN TO MC DONALDS YOU WILL BE BETTER OFF.LOOKS ARE DECIEVING.I RATE THIS PLACE NO STARS RUN FOR THE HILLS

From the time I arrived til the time I left I thought I was in the garbage dump. I sat throught a so call meal that my cat would have walked away from. (she eats grass). We arrived at 4:00 pm tried to eat the so called food at 5:20 I went for a drink got a bloody Mary and was told to finish it by the so called bar tender. Went back to the table were there was not enough table setting. When we asked for more the so called server told us to just get them off another table, but when everyone looked at her she retrieved them from the other table an placed them on the table in a pile. Then the so called food came. Lets start with the chicken soup that had a bone in every bowl. The chicken it was so soggy that the slime was dripping off it. the yellow corn was brown corn and the peas & carrots should have been baby food (not that I would have fed it to any child or baby), The mostaccioli (ha ha) had chicken in it and raw green peppers.the instant potatos were just that nasty. The beef well just that, beef. We left at 7:00pm and tables were still not cleared off. The three servers they had I belive were all under the age of 15 and did not know what they were doing nor did they have any supervision to over see the event. When looking for Management there was none to be found. I think this place should never be booked and the management should give back any money that was taken from the one that paid for the so called food and sevice(ha ha) that was showed at this wedding reception. The poor bride was in tears over this service and presentation of what was called a reception. PLEASE IF YOU HAVE A FUCTION AT THIS PLACE CANCEL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND ASK FOR YOUR MONEY BACK.
