Tokyo Market

I have been to many Japanese markets and Tokyo Market in Richmond is one of the best.

I can find everything I need without searching through other ethnic foods. Good quality products. Clean store. Enjoy chatting with Chong Park.

Why would anyone purchase Brownies at the Tokyo Market? Brownies are not Japanese so I'm not sure why anyone would purchase them especially as something they want to serve guests. Maybe OMochi especially the pretty pink and green ones are the ones with Azuki (white mochi with sweet beans inside) would have been better choices.

This place has all the basics that you can find at Tan A without having to drive all the way out there. Its relatively cheap, it has a wide variety of items...food and dishes, utensils, etc. tea, prepared food, drinks, craft books, etc. It's great!

Out-of-town customer bought 4 expensive stale brownies and owner refused to refund purchase based on customer's word that quality of product caused embarrassment when dinner guests found them inedible on the day of purchase.
