BLIMPIE

I live on the NW side, however, this past weekend, my family and I made the drive to this recently reopened eatery. I can tell you it is worth the drive!!! I had a very pleasant and relaxing eating experience. The sandwich (Tuscan) was made with freshly baked bread, a good portion of meat and veggies, and topped with fresh pesto and garlic mayo. Add a bag of chips and drink and you have a very satisfying meal. The rest of my family also enjoyed their combos (meatball sub, the Mediterranean, and chicken caesar wrap). Another BIG plus is the friendly customer service we received. The employees are very nice and welcoming. We most definitely plan on making this part of weekend plans.

I just wanted to mention what great customer service I always receive when I visit this restaurant. I go like once a week. Sometimes I feel like eating a sandwich, and sometimes I feel like eating a salad. All the food is great, they always have fresh veggies. You can't forget the chip selection. I love them all, I can never decide! Oh yea and the Blue Bell Ice Cream. I love Ice Cream! My favorite food item to eat is the broccoli and cheese soup. And I love the Chicken Caesar Wrap. The store is always clean, even the restrooms. They even have hand sanitizer on the wall, how great is that!

This new owner is doing a great job at making this the best BLIMPIE in San Antonio. He is a wonderfully nice person that cares for his customers. I've been in there before but didn't get the warm welcome feeling I get now. It's so nice, I even know the owner by his first name...how unique. Enjoy the great food!
