I love Atary-Ya, I can say it's my favorite Sushi Bar! I recommend the fresh fish dishes like the Alaskan Roll, Rainbow Roll, the Rock and Roll and much much more. The atmosphere its real cool if you like traditional Japanese. Just go, its awesome!

The best Japanese food & sushi on the Central Coast!I am half Japanese, and having been to Japan many times, I can tell you that Atari-ya is delicious and authentic! This is the only restaurant I will visit for Japanese food. The owner, Keiko-san, is very friendly and the sushi chef, Yuki-san, uses only the best (freshest) fish in his sushi.The rolls here are delicious- my personal favorites are the Sunrise Roll (with eel) and the Spicy Tuna Roll. The Jalapeo Shrimp Tempura Roll- an Atari-ya original- is also a must-try!If you are ever in the Santa Maria area, this is the place to go. And don?t miss the Happy Hour Sushi specials from 5 to 6:30- great prices if you sit at the sushi bar!
