        Open seven nights a week in Pioneer Square since 1981, the Comedy Underground is among the most venerable nightclubs in the country. It’s philosophy of success is to present talented acts who have something incisive to say in addition to always being hilarious. Fans may not recognize all who appear here but we are confident they eventually will because our track record of presenting future stars is, well, out of this world. Name a major comedian: Ellen DeGeneres, Jerry Seinfeld, Mitch Hedburg. They most likely appeared at the Comedy Underground early in their career. Moreover, we are committed to developing local talent with an open mic on Monday, Call Backs on Tuesday and guest sets by worthy up-and-comers on weekends.         Server needs a xanax

        Wish I could say the experience was amazing considering we went there with a group of 16 for my wife's Birthday..... Sadly, it was not. Between us we purchased 8 Living Social deals (that included 2 admissions & a free appetizer for $20) between the 8 free appetizers we recieved one..... not that there was a lack of ordering. Our server (who's name I was never given) was one of the most disrespectful unprofessional unorganized people I have EVER met! She was snide the whole evening.... we had drinks that never came. A slice of cheesecake that took well over an hour to come, appetizers that were ordered & never brought out. When asked about them over an hour later she said the kitchen was closed. When one person from our party noticed she was being charged $7 for a glass of wine the menu said was $6 she very snottily informed her the menu hasn't been changed in 6 months so she had to pay what the check said. There were many complaints I heard from other members of our party such as not having a reserved area when we got there which we had scheduled in advance with the owner, the server was HORRIBLE to EVERYONE, like it was an inconvenience to ask her to do her job.
