The food & service is excellent. One of my favorite places in Spokane. Nice to have the lighter menu choice, keep up the wonderful job! :-)

What a difference! I haven't been to The Onion for quite some time and it was nice to see the menu changes. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. The prices aren't much more than Applebees or Red Robin type places, but the food is sooooo much better. The service and atmosphere were top notch!

If you like American Pub fare, then the Onion is definitely a place to visit. Very good French Onion Soup, refillable fries, and good overall service. Nothing fancy, however a good place to eat in a relaxed environment.

I've had four fantastic and different experiences at The Onion. Each time I go I'm hesitant to try something new because I loved the last thing so much, but when I do, I'm glad I did. I've had the bacon jalapeno cheeseburger, the pepper steak, the buffalo chicken sandwich, and the codfish sandwich. The onion rings are always great and the atmosphere is a home run. Also, great shoe string fries. I will be back for more unique and wonderful experiences

There are 2 locations for the Onion in Spokane, the other is on Division. We prefer this one for the atmosphere and decor, great food, and excellent service. I haven't tried anything there that I haven't liked. The wraps are wonderful, as are the burgers and the fish and chips. The desserts are to die for. The portions are large enough that a couple can split. They also offer smaller portions sizes at a slightly reduced price.

I've been to both The Onion locations a few times and it's not the greatest food ever (and probably not trying to be), but it's very serviceable and consistent. A definite step up from most burgers-and-bar-in-the-middle type of places, but not the kind of place you completely die over. It's good, consistent, comfortable and reasonably affordable, though, which gets my vote. One thing I will note is the service has been amazing every time I've gone. I mean amazing. It's almost uncanny, because it's not the kind of place you'd go in expecting expert service, but it's always been great. Come to think of it, locations have also always been clean (including bathrooms) and consistent. So kudos to management. A place I don't ever crave, but is top of the list when I can't think of anywhere specific to go or just want a burger or to watch the game or to meet with a group of people so we can stay too long and still ensure the service is friendly and not trying to shove us out the door.

The cheap pep pizza meal is gross and really bad.

Todays date 10/30/2010 my birthday---The pizza was gross and they need to take a look at how they are cooking their pizza. I would rather bought a store pizza then sit there and taste a gross under cooked pizza ever again. This is the last time I will ever go to the Onion to eat and I will be going to eat at Tomato Street for now on. The only thing I did in joy was the coke -cola I had thats it. PS- I ate at The North Onion on Division across from Costco.
