General Info: Founded in 1956, Riverside Middle School offers enrichment and educational programs through various teachers to students in grades six through eight. The school s library is an instructional support center for the students to increase reading skills and to improve their abilities to use technology and books. The students are offered classes in several subjects, including language arts, physical education, mathematics, social studies and science. Located in Springfield, Vt., Riverside Middle School organizes numerous after-school programs, such as creative writing, video production and mountain biking. The middle school is governed by the Springfield School District, which serves more than 2,000 students in several elementary schools, a middle school and high school.
