        Goodwill Industries of Southern NJ & Philadelphia is a nonprofit organization that collects and sells gently-used donated items through its chain of thrift stores to fund its charitable mission. Goodwill thrift stores sell affordable clothing, accessories, home décor, books, toys, furniture, home medical equipment and much more while contributing to sustainability efforts. Store revenues fund job training programs and career services that help individuals with disabilities and disadvantages get to work. Through Goodwillâ??s Helms Academy, one can earn a high school diploma 100% tuition free.

        My friend and I visit many thrift stores with minimal expectations and a carefree attitude. This is a large facility that is minimally organized, dirty, and never enough carts. They have a large selection and the workers are continouisly putting out new things. Most are accommadating---except for the miserable, rude "manager" who makes you never want to come back--the mid 30's guy who wears the skull rings--get rid of him ASAP!
