        El Tio going down hill

        20yr customer.lately food is not as good and staff is slower.4/27/12 @ 4:30pm.
        Ps don't get the #9. Yuck!

        Stay Away! This is the worse r...

        Stay Away! This is the worse restaurant I have been to in years. We waited 20 minutes before a waiter aknowledged us. We had to ask for the waiter three times. I had to get the manager. The food was disgusting. The beans were watery and meat was dry. I ordered a margarita that cost $10 and was watered down. The restuarant is old, garishly decorated and appears to be falling apart. Please heed my warning this place is not worth the time or money.

        I went there for my birthday yesterday and was greeted by a hostess with a scowl on her face. She angrily said something to her co-workers to the effect of, "Well, I guess I will seat them if you don't want to." I asked her if everything was all right. She said, "Oh, you took that wrong. That wasn't about you." If you are having a bad day don't make the customers feel unwelcome, for there are so many other restaurants that would enjoy to have my business. The food was shabby as well.
