3 Amigos Mexican Restaurant

Recently went to lunch at 3 Amigos, was my favorite place for a long time. Dont know what happened, but the mexican flavor was not there, the service was slack, and the waitstaff was loud. (the waitstaff was sitting in a booth beside just goofing off and laughing, while several tables were dirty and needed tending).

Not going back for a while. Obviously the owners have grown tired of the place, or maybe its just new owners without a clue.
I'll give it a few years and try again.

Normally I love this place. We did take out tonight. I was so disappointed. My carnitas were so dry. I've had them before and normally they are great. I called, but all I got was an "we're sorry". Disappointed in the food and customer service now.

Great food, good service. 2 Star decor with 5 star flavor. Wait staff got our order perfect. We will be returning with friends.

Visited the 3 Amigos restaurant in Elizabeth City for Mother's Day. The food was very delicious. Not to mention, the staff was great and very attentive. I will definetly be visiting this restaurant frequently.

I love the food and drinks its a small family owned restaurant which is always better than franchise restaurant. I read some of these comment and wanted to comment on one of them because it really bothered me when she said there were fleas lol maby she has to go to a skin doctor or take a shower they clean the restaurant better than most restaurant I have seen them clean everything from walls to behind the booth

We stopped in one night for a couple Margaritas. We usually go to a mexican restaurant in Newport News that we really like but we thought we would give this place a try since its close to home. We should have continued to drive. We ordered two large "Texas Margaritas" on the rocks with salt. They came to the table quickly, also did chips and salsa. The chips were crispy and the salsa was OK at best, the white sauce I did not really care for. However, the Margaritas were probably the worst I have ever had. All we could taste is sour lime mix. Definately not worth $25. Next time we'll go to our usual place.

This use to be the only mexican food I would enjoy eating out. Unfortunately, the last couple of times I ate there not only did the waiter not have a clue what kind of cheese they used to make the cheese dip but my legs got eaten alive by fleas. YES...I said fleas! Sad to say I don't dine there any longer. On a lighter note...the food was great!

The food is satisfactory to the taste.
