Primary Care
Our mission is to promote all-inclusive cancer care to the community, enabling collaboration with a wide range of clinicians in the area including surgeons, medical oncologists, and primary care physicians. In doing so, we continue to maintain close relationships with a number of community and academic medical facilities in the area.
Immunizations
As of May 8th, in light of the low rates of COVID transmission in our community, vaccination of many of our patients and staff, and the nearing end of the public health emergency, the policy changes below are in effect to decrease restrictions in the office. We understand that many patients may still prefer to wear a mask and may request for us to do so at any time as well, particularly in confined spaces in our offices.

Cancer Care
As an organization, Chesapeake Potomac Regional Cancer Center (CPRCC) continues to strive to provide uninterrupted cancer care for our community.

Radiology
The conveniently located centers located in Waldorf and Charlotte Hall provide flexible hours, ample parking and welcoming staff to support you through this journey and allow you to maintain as normal a lifestyle as possible during treatment. Both facilities are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) in recognition of high practice standards.
Computed Tomography
Most often, this is done using a CT scan at our offices. On occasion, you may have specific marks placed or have a customized mold to help keep still. You should also be given instructions beforehand on anything you need to do to prepare for the scan, including any blood work if receiving contrast.
Chemotherapy
They will work to collaborate with you and other members of your medical team such as surgeons and medical oncologists (who prescribe chemotherapy) to determine the best approach for you.
Radiation Therapy
Chesapeake Potomac Regional Cancer Center (CPRCC) was formed in 2006 by University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center, Medstar St. Mary’s Hospital, CalvertHealth Medical Center, Adventist HealthCare and Holy Cross Hospital. Through this unique partnership between physicians, health care leaders and the community, CPRCC has been able to provide cutting-edge radiation therapy services to Charles, St. Mary’s, and Calvert counties for now more than a decade.
