Overall

I love FMA. The Doctors and staff treated my girl Gracie as if she were theirs. She had a severe ear infection that affected her face. It took time , Dr. Bachmans excellent care, and patience. Gracie is doing great and is as happy as can be. Thank you FMA

0 STARS -- THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO IF YOU HAVE A VETERINARY EMERGENCY!!!



I took my kitty here after she was mauled by a dog as this was my regular vet. My original intention was to euthanize her right away because it was looking pretty bad. The techs talked me into letting DR BACHMAN look at her and he told me she was going to be just fine and they'd stitch her up like new. I believed that he would give me an accurate diagnosis and trusted he would tell me if she was too bad off to save so I said okay to surgery. They didn't start surgery until 2 days later, essentially leaving her all torn up laying in her own filth the meantime. They sent her home with me that night after surgery -- they wouldn't even let me SEE her until I had paid them handsomely and when I did I could tell she was in a lot of pain. They gave me antibiotics and pain meds to give her and I followed their instructions to a T, still she died at home 2 days later. The morning before she passed a lady from the vet called me to check up on her and I had just given her her morning dose of the antibiotic and she had foamed at the mouth. Concerned, I told the lady calling what had happened and she "went to ask the doctor" and came back and told me that "she probably just didn't like the taste" - really?! She died that evening. She was DYING when they sent her home with me and THEY KNEW IT, I'm convinced of that much. This vet will take your money in your time of need and lie to your face about your pets needs. After she passed I was angry that my baby had to suffer when I could've ended it all mercifully right away like my instinct had told me to and I also felt bad about the money I had to shell out to "save her", money that I didn't have, for services that did not save my cat. I returned my leftover meds to the vet as I didn't want them lying around the house as a reminder and told a vet tech KIRSTIN as much -- she was beyond rude to me and told me all I cared about was money as I stood in tears over my poor kitty. This was a HORRIBLE experience and I hope no one ever has to go through what I did using this vet. If your pet is having an emergency, TAKE THEM ELSEWHERE - this is NOT the place!!!

I was very impressed with their desire to help my kitty Felix when he became ill. They let me bring him in after hours and stayed with him to run tests and make sure he was comfortable for his overnight stay. Dr. Bachmann was very kind and extremely knowledgeable. He made sure I understood everything that was going on, and even stayed long after hours to perform surgery on Felix so he wouldn't have to suffer anymore. My only complaint is that it ended up being VERY pricey, but for the procedures performed, I'm not sure it would have been cheaper anywhere else. Overall, I was very impressed with the atmosphere and everyone who works there is VERY kind and were happy to work with me.
