New Hanover Regional Medical Center is a not-for-profit health care system serving southeastern North Carolina and northeastern South Carolina. A teaching hospital, regional referral center, and Level 2 Trauma Center, NHRMC is dedicated to providing a wide range of health care services, through the main campus on 17th Street in Wilmington, Cape Fear Hospital on Wrightsville Avenue in Wilmington, Pender Memorial Hospital on East Freemont Street in Burgaw, and outpatient rehabilitation and diagnostic centers throughout the area.
