Not specialist, learning technicians

I was in this shop for 9 months until today.

They change the owner and must of the people has not experient at all

I have a Honda Accord 2004

With low miles

My car was not in bad condition but I have a concern cause when te car was in park position, the transition was making a noise like slow change from sped to reverse.

Not liking of damage was there.

Te guy told me than I have to change the oil of the transition and filters and I did so.

After a week than the guy did this change my car star liking oil from the botton of the engine as a drop by each 10 sec. Then the car was back to the shop and the guy told me than the transmition was in bad condition and he has to re build it again, charge of 3000 with all labor and oils plus guaranties for life.

Well...

I love my car and I did it.

Trust in people as human.

After a month the car sat liking oil by the botton againg and I call the guy and was a different, upset cause I complain than the job is not done and send me to wait on phone for 10 min. After a woman with bad actitud answer and told me.

You must have to town the car to us and we will call you if we find something wrong.

I did it again like idiot

And now was the shaft seal kit.

I pay for that cause is nothing with the transmition

And a week againg the car got a hi level of warm in the engine due a entied engine of oil.

I saw the stick to check the oil in the engine and was dry...

Yes

Dry....

I call the guys after I saw the left side of the engine with oil all around. Yes I call again and a person answer me with bad actitud cause was always me the one call to complain for the bad job than they do.

The person told me againg take the car to us and will see what's wrong

I did it

And I just get a call than the seal kit was burn due a pressure of the engine and damage the tommy bell and u have to do a full service now cause is the first thing than I have to do.

I'm so upset

And I file a complain to the costumer complains area of contra costa to their check of licenses and experience than they have to certify as technicians

This is not an attack

This is a human than spend in this people who just lie and has not experience at all and make you pay the experiments than they do in you car.

Be aware and remember than cheep not means experience means be carful

I'm learning.

Choose a company with history not just someone think than can make it or fix it.

I send my car to the dealer

Where they repair what those guys fix.

One of the HONEST ones. . .

I just went to the shop this morning. Completely discouraged because I have a 97 Saturn with over 197,000.00 miles on it and engine light has been on for a year. Time for a darn smog and knew I couldn't pass it with that stupid light on. Went to the shop because they offer "free engine light check scan" but knowing I was going to be taken advantage of. I can't tell you how nice it is to be told the truth upfront about my car. With Victor's honesty, caring attitude and overall great personality, I left the shop completely THANKFULl that finally there is someone out there who didn't just b.s. me and tell me that it was going to cost thousands of dollars and that was it! He explained all the possible problems with my car, which were a lot, and together came up with a plan. Most shops would just say "you need a new transmission" PERIOD! and let you sweat it out on your own. I haven't gotten the work done on my car because I just have to put it off for a while. I just know that when I'm ready to get the work done, I'm going right back there.
