An esteemed graduate of the Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico, he undertook his residency training in general surgery and urology at the University of Puerto Rico. Dr. HernandezÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s clinical and research interests have focused on prostate cancer, its early detection and treatment protocols, robotic prostatectomy and robotic-assisted partial nephrectomy for T1b tumors.
