General Info: Here at Philadelphia's Dance Sport Academy we understand that new students may worry that they will not be able to learn to dance and will look foolish trying, but his goals as a teacher are to help students at all levels discover and enjoy the ways in which dance challenges the mind and the body. In a completely supportive atmosphere students are able to lose unwanted inhibitions and learn to express themselves through movement and rhythm. With practice students develop a new awareness of music, their partners, and themselves, and students are encouraged to pursue their creative expression to whatever level they choose. Some want to develop their new hobby, others to improve their social dancing skills, and others to take their dance technique to an advanced level. All are made to feel welcome, not only by all teachers but also by other students who have already discovered the life-enhancing power of dance and the joys of this warm and friendly dance community in Ardmore.
