In 2003 Tad Braswell and Scott Samples combined their expertise and experience to form two companies, Traditional Neighborhood Development, LLC, the development company Terragroup, LLC, the construction company. The two professionals had the vision of combining Tad's 20 years experience in rezoning, and residential development and Scott's 18 years experience in the construction and development industry for the basis of their partnership to form their real estate development company, the fee development company and the general contracting and construction company. The result has enabled the duo to provide the depth of services in house which enables tremendous flexibility in maximizing the physical and intellectual resources for their clients. The companies have completed numerous developments and have established integral relationships with many of the most respected home builders in the Atlanta housing market. The company has acted as both fee developers and community developers which has maximized the development opportunities, both from smaller infill communities to larger master plan community developments. Keeping their pulse on the latest trends in the real estate industry, Tad and Scott have formed relationships with some of the top retail and office developers in the city to deliver the mixed use component of the communities' developments. In this role, the company provides the extensive experience acting as a consultant, developer or contractor. Terragroup, the construction company, provides a multitude of services and produces more than 500 lots per year for builders and developers in addition to the companies own developments. Builders and developers in the city are able to take advantage of the cost savings for their communities when we develop the lots. TND is able to pass these savings onto the builders and developers due to the level of grading equipment that is owned by the company which maximizes the company's resources by maintaining flexibility and cost controls on our projects.
