        Overall

        I went to the vein clinics of America in Atlantic Station for varicose veins on the front of my legs. An ultrasound was performed and the doctor gave me their plan for treating my veins. The plan was for 4 or 5 appointments (laser and injections) and was around $7,000.00 worth of work (this is including insurance. I do have a high deductible). I got a second opinion from the Vascular Surgeons at Emory. I showed the Emory doctor my report from VCOA and the doctor told me that I didn't need ANY of what VCOA recommended. Emory took care of both legs and with only 1 treatment-appointment for $800.
