Doctor Christopher Patterson is a Colorado native that grew up in a small town near Boulder, Colorado. His lovely wife Tara is also a Colorado native and grew up in Littleton. Together they have three beautiful and rowdy sons. As a family they love to travel, ski, and enjoy the Colorado outdoors. After receiving a Bachelor in Medical Science from the University of Colorado Denver Health Sciences, Doctor Patterson attended the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, Dr. Patterson completed a one year general practice residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was at this time he decided to dedicate his life to pediatric dentistry. Following his residency in Utah he was mentored for a few years by an amazing and well respected pediatric dentist in Santa Fe, New Mexico. After this mentorship, he was accepted to and completed NYU-Lutheran Medical Pediatric Dental Residency at the Tucson Arizona site. This allowed for further instruction in pediatrics and special needs dentistry including; oral surgery, orthodontics, medicine, hospital dentistry, special needs, sedation, trauma, growth, development, and behavior management. Additionally, Dr. Patterson later completed his board certification through the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. This special designation is reserved for pediatric dentists that undergo a rigorous testing process to certify their knowledge and training in all aspects of the pediatric dental specialty. As a parent of three active young boys, he understands the unpredictability of raising children. For this reason, he tries to make himself available for those unexpected problems. His dental philosophy centers on creating a dental home and a focus on a preventative and conservative approach to dental care.
