I would not recommend this practice to anyone, if it was possible to give them 0 stars I would. After 3 visits($40 co-pays every time) my child's eye condition was still not treated. They missed the problem at the initial exam and when my child complained of blurry vision 48 yrs later we had to take them to the office that was over an hour away, turns out there was a condition that they missed. After diagnosing and requesting a follow-up in 2 weeks I scheduled another appt, assuming at the next visit I would at least get a course of treatment started. Upon showing up to the follow-up(the closest office is still nearly 45 mins from us) the office was dark and closed. I called and was told they had scheduled me in the other, further office since I had been to that one last. Perfect. They so nicely squeezed me in two days later, so I had to make the drive once more. Hoping this would be it, I went. Nope, just another co-pay and another "call to schedule an appt. with so and so." To add insult to injury they tried to sell me pairs of sports goggles for my children that don't even need glasses. They conveniently sell them right there. I think not, and won't be back. I will be finding someone else. Even worse, I called my insurance company to ask about the "co-pays" and was told if they had billed the original visits as regular eye exams(which they were) I would have been covered at 100%. Instead they billed them as medical problem visits and charged me more. When I asked about this the receptionist came out into a full waiting room for all the other patients to hear and "broke it down" to me about how they don't accept my insurance and I was wrong. HIPPA anyone? Funny that they could bill my insurance(that they don't accept) for a medical specialist visit but not for a regular eye exam. Something doesn't really add up. They have gotten all that they are getting out of me, I am wondering if a call the the Better Business Bureau isn't in order...

Overall
Wait

I was told my child should come back 4 times this year!!! And I have to pay each time(or at least my insurance does) What's with that??? The wait was very long, AND I didnt get to see the doctor that I thought I came for. Then at the end the Doctor I came to see came in for about 5 minutes. Of course my child needed eyeglasses, and I was told that in about 1 year they may be out of them. Also---this place has their own Eyeglass store. So, they send you there to get the prescription. And the Doctor tells you that you should get glasses from the, Very questionable. I dont want an Eye Doctor that is in the business of selling Eyeglasses also.
