My wife and I sailed on the Liberty Clipper for a harbor sail in Boston in August 2009 and had a terrific time! While sailing the crew told us about their week-long Bahamas Sailing Vacations and ended up going down to the Bahamas and spending a week sailing with them over Christmas - what a great time! It was awesome, the crew showed me how to raise the sails, how to steer and by the end of the week I didn't want to leave. The people on board were a lot of fun and we've made some new friends which was unexpected. There was this parade called Junkanoo that was like a Bahamas Mardi-Gras - very neat - and I would highly recommend if you go over the holidays to stay up for it - I'd never seen anything like it.
