        Everhart Veterinary Hospital was established in 1956 by Frederick F. Everhart Jr., a native of Frederick, Maryland. Practicing high quality veterinary medicine, and providing compassionate care and personal service are the goals initially instilled in the hospital by Dr. Everhart. These goals, a priority to our staff since 1956, have been maintained to this day by Dr. Robert Goodman, who assumed ownership of the practice in 1992 when Dr. Everhart retired.

        Everhart's is a wonderful vet clinic! The people at Everhart's are patient, caring and kind. Our family has been loyal customers of Everhart's for 23 years, every since we decided to help a neighborhood stray cat, and we have never regretted it. Our first experience with Everharts was because of money, we were young, dumb and very poor. We couldn't ignore a stray who was sick and suffering, (the vet thought the cat may have been hit by a car). After calling around, Everhart's prices were the most reasonable and they were the only vets office willing to work a new customer with a stray into their same day schedule, in fact 1 popular vet said the soonest he would see the cat was in 3 weeks and we should just drop the cat at the pound to be euthanized. 23 years, 5 cats, 3 dogs, n 1 bunny, later we are still loyal Everhart's customers. In the last 23 years I have never encounter of the Everhart's family who wasn't extremely courteous, thoughtful and compassionate.
