The food was excellent. The service was great for a totally packed banquet hall.. My only complaint would be that the eggs Benedict were a little cold. Although they do add a gratuity, they are at least are honest enough to tell you when the check comes. We will definitely come again.

I too attended a wedding at Banchetti's in Amherst and was so disgusted with the place I had to leave. The food was horrible (cold & dry), the venue was dirty, linens were stained, glasses spotty, silverware was'nt not fit for a dog to eat with, not to mention the service was slow. Anyone who has their wedding here, shows how cheap you really are! If your trying to impress your guests, not the place to do it! Unless you like to look like your cheap then this is the perfect place for your event!

We were here for Mother's Day Brunch and we won't be back. I highly suggest finding a different venue to eat at. First, we had reservations for 12pm and they never seated us until 1pm. We had 22 people including 2 babies and 1 person over 80 that was forced to wait in a cramped hallway.



Staff was not very considerate of their screw-up. When we finally ate, we had to wait for our drinks and many of us didn't get drinks for almost 20 more minutes. The staff couldn't keep up with the over booking and half of the food trays were cold and/or empty by time we got up.



Forget desert it was gone when we were ready for it. They ended up bringing out a few things for us but still sub par considering the buffet was not cheap.



I also witnessed one of the chefs get nasty with an older man after the man asaked if his roast beef (which was bleeding) could be heated up.



This is our 2nd year now and will not return. Last year the service was better but the food was aweful and this year some of the food was decent but the service was terrible.

I have gone here many times for lunch and occassionally grab take out for dinner and the food is always great!!!! If you use their coupons, the food at Cafe Banchetti is a steal. Would recommend to anyone looking for great food at a good price ... and the setting is pretty nice too.

My girlfriends and I went there for lunch. The food was ok but the waitresses acted like they had better things to do than wait on us. Most of them were discussing boyfriends, and realtionship problems..Sorry ladies but save that for the breakroom
