New & Better Auto Glass

DO NOT GO HERE! I took my new BMW here, and they were careless. They left streaks all over the interior panels. Then I waited a week to allow the tint time to dry, but it turned out with bubbling and peeling. I returned and they retinted 3 windows. When I got the car back, I noticed there were scratches on the tint on both rear quarter windows. I thought it was just the tint, but they were scratches to the glass on the inside. They weren't there prior to them removing and replacing the tint. I have no children, pets or anyone whoever sat in the back seat. Also, there were white specs in the black interior and on the rubber strip of the door. I thought it would just wipe off so I just went home. But, it wouldn't come off. I returned to show them. They had used ammonia to remove the tint and had sprayed it there, causing the discoloration. A detail shop was able to fix it 90% of the way with a plastic restorer. However, after a few days that faded so you could see the white spots again.

They were absolutely awesome! I was still upset from the drama of dealing with Safelite and GEICO when I walked into the shop. The woman at the desk saw my frustration and told me it's not an emergency or usage because of the placement of the crack. She told me I could wait if I needed to, but to come back inside for an estimate. (I'd walked away because she told me I needed a new windshield before she when saw the crack.) Her price to replace was the same cost of pulling a recycled one, plus an hour's labor. And she would have put a rush order on it for only $10 more! I expect the install to be just as good as the service. Fingers crossed! She even reminded me to smile and not stress about it as I left the store.
