General Info

Operational for more than 50 years, Camp Watchaug is a summer day camp organized by the Ocean Community YMCA. It offers a range of recreational programs for children and families and serves over 1,300 campers in a year. The camp conducts a variety of instructional activities and special events. Camp Watchaug provides swimming classes and organizes boating activities. It offers Fort Building Camp, WaterSports and Sailing School programs. The WaterSports program focuses on developing skills in sailing, water-skiing and other aquatic sports. Camp Watchaug provides services to churches, schools, corporations and local businesses. It operates ski boats, indoor lodges and waterfronts. The camp additionally maintains learning and art centers.
