Overall
great experience

Everybody was so nice and showed me that they truly care. It was the day before Thanksgiving at 4pm and they never rushed me. Dr. Loveless took the time to check my doggy and he even took extra time to check the ingredients in my dog's food to make sure that he was getting the right amount of protein. The service they offered me was excellent, I can tell that Dr. Loveless really care about his patients. I am happy I have found a good place to take my furry babies.

I called in advance to let this vet know that my dog was in heat and I needed to board my male AND female. Neither had been fixed. I asked if this was a problem and there quick answer was ofcourse not. So I took both of my labs in to be boarded for about a week and a half. I mentioned again once walking into the door that my female was in heat and that they needed to be kept seperately. As I began to fill out and sign the paperwork, one of the vet technicians came up and asked if my dog was in heat and said that they were locked up in the back. They tried to convince me that my dog probably wasn't pregnant after one lockup. I asked if she was what the options were because I do not have the time or facilities to raise a litter of puppies as I stay in an extremely small apartment. They said to bring her in at 40 days and they could take an xray and spay her if needed.

Well at 37 days, I called back and said she was definitely pregnant and what they were going to do to help. They told me that they couldn't do anything because if they were, they had to do it at 30 days. Obviously displeased, I asked what they were going to offer to do to help and their only answer was they could give the puppies away for me. I don't need help getting rid of full blooded labrador retrievers. I need help raising them for six weeks as it was their fault. The admin there told me she felt like I was trying to take advantage of them and get a free spay. I expressed that after 3 years of not spaying my hunting dog, I had no intentions of spaying her. Still they offer no help, but they didn't hesitate to take $460 of my money. They have poor communication with each other AND they don't supervise the dogs they let into the back. VERY POOR SERVICE AND PROFESSIONALISM!

Additionally, the facilities and its staff seemed like it was complete chaos. The only reason I left my dogs is because I was in a pinch and had no other choices as I had to do something right then. I was going to hope and pray for the best. The A/C was not working as I was sweating just standing in the lobby. The staff that make the appointments are completely rude and have no knowledge of their jobs. Any dog lover with good general knowledge of dogs could challenge any of these helpers and quickly realize they aren't fully qualified to entrust one of your beloved pets to. Dr. Loveless on the other hand was what I would expect at a Vet. I cannot say the same for his staff who actually handles the animals.
