        Ace Animal Hospital is a full service small animal clinic that has served the Portage Park, IL area for more than 75 years. Dr. Dougherty and Wallery are glad to offer an extensive array of services for your cats and dogs. We are located on the northwest side of Chicago and treat your pets like family. Get them the care they need, from basic check-ups to extensive surgical services, as well as: ? Dental service ? in-house labs ? Spay and neutering ? Bone surgery ? Knee reconstruction ? Preventive medicine ? EKG and blood pressure monitor To ensure the quality of care, we have our own in-house lab, EKG and blood pressure monitoring that is routine on all surgical procedures. In an effort to make things easier on our patients, no appointment is necessary for many procedures, except for surgery. We also have a convenient parking lot right next to the office.         Ace is great. I lived in the area and always took my 2 dogs there. They are very reasonably priced and the staff is very kind and caring. They don't push alot of unnecessary tests and procedures on you like some other vets do. In times like these, where alot of places seem to not care about their clients, Ace always makes you feel like you and your pet are part of the family.
