Dr. Osvaldo I. Lopez is a graduate of Northwestern University where he earned both the Bachelor of Science and M.D. degrees. Following medical school he completed an internship at Northwesternâ€™s Passavant Memorial Hospital. He then completed his specialty residency training in ophthalmology at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Lopez remains at the forefront of corneal surgery as attested to by the fact that he was among the very first in Chicago to perform IntraLase LASIK surgery and is among the leaders nationally in the treatment of keratoconus through the use of corneal implants. Dr. Lopezâ€™s extraordinary achievements as a physician and surgeon were formally recognized by the State of Illinois, which awarded him their highest honor, the Lincoln Medal for Medicine.

Harold Sy, M.D. completed his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. He received his M.D. degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois. Following a surgical internship at Rush Presbyterian St. Lukeâ€™s Medical Center, Dr. Sy completed his ophthalmology residency at the Cook County Hospital/John H.
