HB heating and cooling helped me out in one of the cold nights of peak winter in Chicago , my system broke down all of a sudden there technician showed up fix the problem and i'm happy with there work.

This is in no way stating whether you should or should not use this company. I am stating true and factual events that took place. And my personal experience. On May 7th I called HB Heating and Cooling to do my yearly routine maintenance on my air conditioning unit, and utilized them based on their Groupon. I also needed 1 to 2 lbs of Freon because I had a small leak in my unit. I also asked them to fix the noise my fan blade was making. My air conditioner was in working order and cooling fine prior to them coming out. I was out walking my dog and upon returning I was told they added Freon, adjusted the position of the motor and replaced 24v connect. I was explicitly told that they were not supposed to touch the connect because they were not trained to do so, but he was doing me a favor. I then went to work. Upon coming home that evening, my house was warm and there was not cool air coming from my vents. I immediately text Ben and stated the issue. He said he would come back Friday the 8th. I took lunch to meet them but they were late and I called and they said they would come later and I do not need to be home. I came home and it still was not cooling. They came out five more times and replaced multiple components that were in WORKING condition prior to them first touching my unit. After a month of back and forth and speaking to the manager, I finally had to call another service provider to address my broken unit because my house was now well over 80 degrees and I have a dog at home. The manager said there was nothing more they could do and it was my issue, though again, my AC unit was WORKING prior to them coming out and has since worked after having a professional company fix it. I was told that EVERY part HB Cooling installed was wired incorrectly and had to be fixed and/or replaced. It cost me $1132 to fix what HB Cooling had broke.Nothing was done correctly and could have caused an electrical fire with how wrong they wired the parts, including putting components in upside down and backwards.I was also told by both employees of HB cooling that this was not their regular job but they were helping their family who owns the business.
