General Info

The Clovis Police Department has more than 60 sworn officers, approximately 15 communication specialists, and over 10 animal control and support services members. It offers crime prevention and law enforcement services to the city of Clovis, N.M. Through the crime stopper program, the department involves the public in fighting crimes in collaboration with the media and police. The Clovis Police Department also maintains the Citizens on Patrol volunteer program that offers training, equipment and management assistance to members. Its members patrol in pairs using their own vehicles, operate the group s base station, and do other administrative duties to support the program.
