Happy Hounds Pet Grooming

Charged me $47 for a 5-pound puppy. She did not trimmed at all under her tail which was the reason I took her for grooming. She asked me to have her sedated as she was restless while being groomed. I did. She did not even left the tail, practically for just shampoo $47.00 She lacks compassion which she needs for this business. She shows no compassion or affection, very much in the business for the moiney. Will not recommend her;

I bought a groupon for Happy Hounds and my Yorkie is anything but happy after having all of his hair shaved off. In addition to the $23 I paid for the groupon they charged me another $19 for a total of $42. I am very unhappy and would not recommend this place. Now my Yorkie has to wear a sweater all the time so he does not get cold.

Kindhearted, caring, considerate, gentle, compassionate, and thoughtful are words that come to mind immediately when I think of Barb. I have known her for many years as she worked with both of my dogs, Blarney for 14 years and now Connor for 4.

If either of my dogs could talk they would say, "God....I love Barb." I started working with Barb 19 years ago when I got my first dog, Blarney. Always willing to work with your schedule, the service provided is unequaled anywhere in the Springs. Her innate kindness, her joy in animals, combined with her expert knowledge of pet care, culminate in a beautiful groomed dog who considers Happy Hounds a home. I am never anything but calm and confident when I know my dog is in such capable hands.

Want your dog groomed on a Monday…not possible, as Barb spends every Monday grooming dogs as a volunteer for the National Mill Dog Rescue. When Katrina hit and there were reports of multiple animals roaming the streets, who hopped in her car and went down there? Yes. Barb.

No adjectives or descriptive paragraphs can do justice to the special feeling you get when you're with her. If I could give a 10 star rating or a 100 star rating I would. But I guess I have to be happy with the 5 star. Many thanks to Barb and her crew for the BEST (and I do mean that) dog grooming business in the city.

I purchased a living socials deal and called to make an appointment. When Mandy answered the phone she asked how I heard about Happy Hounds, when I stated that I had a living social deal she covered the phone with her hand and asked another person in the room if she should book me soon or if she should book me far out because it was a living social deal. She uncovered her hand from the phone and said that "due to the large volume of calls the first available appointment is not until the end of February."



This is just poor customer service. People purchase these deals to try out organizations they have never tried before. When you are selective just because someone received a great deal (that you offered) you risk losing lifelong customers. Please remember that people love their pets and are always looking for that just right company who provides a great service. I guess Happy Hounds is only looking to get more customers for less, not lifelong customers who will pay the regular rates. I will not be one of those customers, I have requested a refund for my voucher.
