I enjoy having my N.C. State inspection done here. They checked my truck out and found a tire issue that I wasn't aware of. That's why the state have us have an Inspection (safety first) On my a/c they gave me choice so I could make an educated decision. Good people great service.

i needed a new starter. They told me it would be $288 for a Re-manufactured one. When I asked how much the parts store was charging for the part, they said $200. Everyone talks about how honest they are, so I figured I could trust them. WRONG!!! When they called me to tell me it was ready, the wheels started turning. So I called Advance Auto. They charge $141 for the part. so I called Joe's Radiator to ask again about the price of the part. NOBODY WANTED TO GIVE A STRAIGHT ANSWER. I was passed from receptionist, to mechanic, to receptionist, then finally to Joe himself. Keep in mind that they get a 10% discount from Advance. He finally admitted that they marked the price up $60, and that Advance even delivered it to them. His exact quote was, "Well, me marking a price up by $60 is cheap! That's how we make money". No sir, most shops might do a 10% markup. You made $88 in labor, and $75 ($60 + his $15 discount). $163 for under 15 minutes work is pretty good coin, you freakin' crook. People like you give honest mechanics a bad name.

AVOID at all cost. Had a water pump replaced on friends car and bolts were over- tightened. Two days later the timing belt cover cracked. Bunch of backyard mechanics that have no idea of how to torque bolts. Only got one star because it's required. They deserve minus 'stars'.

Took my son's car to Joe's with an electrical problem that Victory Chevrolet said would cost $1400 to fix. Danny found the problem and REPAIRED it instead of replacing an $1100 part and for a fraction of the price. I felt comfortable enough to let him tune up and inspect the car as well. He replaced the valve cover gasket and cleaned the engine bay to like new conditon. All work was first rate and the prices very reasonable. I'd highly recommend this facility.

Don't go there. Every time someone goes there to get a car inspected, it needs wipers. They change them and then tell you about it. Will never ever go there again. Guess they don't care if they get bad feedback. They sure haven't changed there attitudes.

The State of NC requires that we check things like that. We ALWAYS ask before we replace anything(state law). Remember it's for your safety and the safety of others.

Both guys that work there are complete jerks. I had my air conditioning supposedly fixed in my car however the next day it began to blow out hot air so I took it back to them hoping they could fix it considering I was just there the day before. They refused to fix it without charging me labor. I had my receipt showing I was there the day before but they said they would have to charge me to see what else was going on. NEVER WILL I GO BACK THERE AGAIN AND I ADVISE OTHERS TO STAY AWAY!!!!
